Md. Mehadi Masud is a third-year Chemical Engineering undergraduate at Changzhou University, China, originally from Bangladesh. His research targets humidity-stable organosilica composite membranes for CO₂/N₂ and CO₂/CH₄ separation, building on earlier experience in MOF synthesis for CO₂ conversion and on process design and techno-economic analysis. He won The Omega Chi Epsilon Award in the AIChE Student Design Competition 2025–26, USA , 2nd Prize in China’s National Chemical Engineering Short Video Competition, and the IChC 2026 Ambassador Award (Excellent Encouragement), and holds the Jiangsu Provincial Government Scholarship. He is a student member of AIChE and CIESC and an IChemE affiliate. As an IChC Ambassador, he works to widen access to international scientific opportunities for students from developing countries.
